Dr. Meng is an assistant professor in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology in the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami and an affiliated member of the NCI-designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has had an illustrious career in academic research, including first-author papers in Nature, Nature Communications, Hepatology, Journal of Hepatology, among others. His research is supported by Stanley J. Glaser Foundation Research Award and a substantial start-up package from the University of Miami and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Meng has also recently earned a 5-year R35 award through the NIGMS-MIRA funding mechanism.
