The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects involving genomics, single cell and spatial omics data analysis, and will be responsible for developing and implementing computational algorithms, statistical models, and data visualization techniques to extract biological insights from large-scale datasets. * Key Responsibilities: ‧ Develop and implement computational methods and pipelines for analyzing genomics, spatial and single cell omics data. ‧ Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large-scale datasets. ‧ Collaborate with experimental biologists and other data scientists to integrate omics data with other types of biological data. ‧ Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and publications. ‧ Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the field of genomics and computational biology. ‧ Assist in the supervision and training of junior team members. 【徵才條件】 Qualifications: ‧ Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics or a related field. ‧ Strong experience in genomics and single cell omics data analysis, including proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python. ‧ Experience with statistical and machine learning techniques, such as regression, clustering, classification, and dimensionality reduction. ‧ Experience with data visualization tools, such as ggplot2, plotly, or D3.js. ‧ Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems. ‧ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of scientists and engineers. ‧ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Although the main research program is focused on studying pancreatic cancer, our interests are broad and span from stem cells, metabolism, epigenetic reprogramming during early phase of tumor progression to heterogeneity, and treatment resistance. An important part of our research effort is focused on technology advancement and development; in particular, novel approaches to improve in vivo modeling of human disease.
