In others, children focus on a narrow range of subjects related to a particular career. Which do you think is appropriate in today’s world?(教育) 我的寫作是 In my point of view, both general education across a range of subjects and subjects to a related domain are quite important. General education will help build up students' fundamental knowledge basis. Subjects like language and math are the basic for later advanced courses. Without prior language education, students might find it difficult in reading advanced course materials, writing essays and giving appropriate and understandable presentations in college. Without the fundamental math education in algebra and calculation, complex courses like physics or mechanics might be too hard to learn Then general education will build up students prior knowledge to further learning. However, too much emphasis on general education also has side effects. It will occupy the time which students can spend on their favoured subjects. Our society needs various kinds of roles. We need doctors to cure the patients but we also require drivers to deliver foods and goods. One purpose of the education should also help students to find out their future occupation preferences. The earlier the students understand what to do in the future, the better their performance will be. Therefore, the teaching of related subjects to career might be as important as the general education. To achieve this goal, we can split the learning process to two major parts during the secondary school. Students should learn the basic subjects like languages and math in the first year. From the second year, they should start to choose their preferred domain and subjects related to the future. This can help them to start build their career earlier and if they change their mind, they still have time to regret. The importance of education is to help the pupils not only to learn the basics which help them in later pursuit or daily life but also give them the orientations about the future.
