Spanish Word of the Day (Thursday, February 26, 2009) oír, verb to hear; to listen to Oír is the basic word for hearing someone or something. Remember that it ’s a rather irregular verb: oigo, oyes, oye, and so forth. And don’t forget the accent over the letter í in the infinitive and the past participle. He oído un ruido. (I heard a noise.) ¿Me oyes bien? (Can you hear me all right?) Oír also conveys the idea of listening to something. oír la radio (to listen to the radio) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.175.216.208
