在別地方看到的有幾題有問題來集思廣益 17. NUGATORY: SIGNIFICANCE A. sublime: worthless B. entrenched: precedent C. quotidian: regularity D. deceptive: plausibility E. ethereal: substance 16. VITUPERATIVE: REVILE A. placative: mollify B. corrosive: restore C. elusive: search D. incisive: sharpen 7. RELIABILITY: TRUST:: A. mendacity: disbelief B. compassion: pity C. impartiality: bias D. sagacity: wisdom E. inquisitiveness: curiosity 2. ACTOR: PLAYBILL:: A. ingredient: recipe B. photograph: album C. word: sentence D. traveler: guidebook E. page: novel 我的看法 Nugatory : significance x have no y (D)deceptive: plausibility 但另外解釋 x little or no y 就變成(E)了 ethereal: substance 用雙形容詞比較 nugatory is not significant deceptive is not plausible ethereal is not substantial 都通請大家看看有沒有更細微的差異 16. 謾罵的:謾罵我認為是incisive : sharpen 銳利的:銳利老外認為是(A) 想一想 placative : mollify placate: MW [v] to soothe or mollify 似乎相當通因為此選項和題目都是主動但是sharpen和incisive有因果略有不同 7. RELIABILITY: TRUST:: X = Y A. mendacity: disbelief [a 使得 b 因果] B. compassion: pity [雙名詞同義] C. impartiality: bias [a not b] D. sagacity: wisdom [雙名詞同義] E. inquisitiveness: curiosity [因果] 老外說是A....orz (第一個被我刪掉的選項) 我直覺選D 因為兩個都是特質但是B是動詞轉名詞硍這題超難五個選項都有關系 2.
