「Scholars and researchers should not be concerned with whether their work
makes a contribution to the larger society. It is more important that they pursue
their individual interests, however unusual or idiosyncratic those interests
may seem.」
學者與研究者不應該只被關注於是否他們的工作是否能對大部分的社會做出貢獻。更重要
的是被關住於他們是否能追求他們個人的興趣，雖然這些興趣有時候看起來獨特或者是別
具個人風格。
