[心得] 連考2場 6.0->6.5(2)

這一篇主要是想分享 writing task2 5/10的題目是: 你同意男人與女人共同分擔家事嗎? -- band 6 (... Men and Women should equally share the housework. What extent do you agree..) 5/17的則是: 你同意小孩在家與在學校都可以看電視嗎? -- band 6.5 我原先很擔心我作文只有5分或5.5分，但看到推文說只要字數有達到最低要求就會有6，我就很放心了哈因為我平時真的沒想法，但當作模擬考試腎上腺素上升，想法自然而然會蹦出來XD (忘了說，我有請家教(新竹Brett)，主要幫我練口說，有時間才幫我看寫作) 一開始我拿托福的模板去寫，結果Brett說我的一看就是模板，被他評分可能只有4.5，且看得出是模板的字數，其實是不會被計算的，我後來就把simon的完整文章複製下來每篇都看過，真的多看就會有感覺，我後來有歸納一些句子，考試時我是想到哪句就任意搭配用： first paragraph 1. People have different views about... In my poinion,... 2. It's true that ... . Although ... , I believe ... 3. While ... , I would endorse that ... 4. While ... , I agree with the idea that... 5. Thise essay will discuss OO problems and measure that XX can take to address these problems. second paragraph & third paragraph 1. On the one hand,... 2. On the other hand, I would believe that... 3. Furthermore, Moreover, In addition, 4. Nonetheless, Nevertheless, However 5. Hence, Therefore, Thus 5. There are several reasons why... 6. There are several actions that OOO could take to solve the problems described above. Fourth paragraph 1. In conclusion, although ... , I would argre that... 2. In conclusion, it seems to me that there are several good reasons why... , but in my opinion, ... Brett說，部分的題目(同不同意某些政策或某論點)通常是非常理想化的，只會看到one side，他們企圖想解決一些問題 (我們自己要揣測) 且一旦採取這方法後，(短期內)確實是可以解決這個問題的但我們心裡通常想的是: 是啦這政策還不錯~ 但是不是有負面影響呢 (多大程度?) 我的話，第二段會寫好處在哪(揣測)，第三段再去攻擊題目(2-3個點) 例如: Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual teenager and society as a whole. Do you agree or disagree? 對於社區來說，年輕人義務幫忙是件好事，可以省經費，可以讓年輕人多認識社區但對於年輕人來說，課業壓力大，無法撥空作volunteer，另外，我們不能限制年輕人做自己不想做的事，他們可以選擇自己要做的(社團.學電腦技能等)，對於社會的貢獻更大另一種，是問某種現象的影響，如何解決此問題的？ (溫室效應->氣溫升高->少開冷氣) 這種題目簡單許多，第二段講造成的三個影響，然後第三段再講三個解決方法，一定要一個對一個配對比較有條理例如: In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations. simon寫的第二段 1. 太多老年人，所以政府給予的退休金很多 2. 年輕人比例太少，稅金收入很少 3. 對於健康醫療的需求增加，年輕人必須更努力照顧長輩第三段 1. 延長退休年齡 2. 鼓勵外國人移民來工作，增加稅收 3. 國家預算從其他部分刪減，撥出一些來提升醫療照顧另外，多用一些複雜的句子， Brett看到我寫的都說太simple了，都是一般的S+V 而我認為我可以從6->6.5的最大原因就在這，我第二次考試多用了很多子句，讓句子更拉長，描述更完整，而不是單純用連接詞and but連接， , which means that... , which plays an essential role to ... , which contributes to ... 原本想把speaking也打完..又不小心打太多了有空再打XD -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 118.166.85.182 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/IELTS/M.1402210535.A.9A8.html
