Questions requiring short answers will usually contain:
who/which/what/where/when/why/how many/how much/ and so on
So, you’ll be able to guess what kind of word(s) you need to listen out for.
Before the recording begins, underline those and other key words in the questi
ons. The instructions will tell you to write one, two or three words and or a
number. The questions will often ask for two or even three of something for yo
ur answers (Eg, In which two states are cancer rates the highest? / What three
bad habits can increase the risk for cancer?)
