會議訊息研討會主題：電腦中介社交網絡 Computer-Mediated Social Networking ＊會議時間：98年11月14日 (六) ＊會議地點：交通大學交映樓國際會議廳＊大會議程：http://www.tais.org.tw/2009/2009TAIS_v1.pdf ＊報名參加：http://www.tais.org.tw/2009/signup.htm ＊大會主旨：　　網際網路誕生時就帶著「網絡」的概念，但無論在研究或應用上，受到關注的一直都是其作為一個媒體、傳播通訊工具、電子商務、或線上社群等，網際網路在人際關係上的可能發展，常常被忽略。直到「社交網絡」（social networking）概念及其相關網站的出現，網際網路在建立、維護、延伸、甚至損害人際關係上的潛能，剎那間成為焦點。線上人際關係所形成的結構，對人們到底是助力還是阻力？在同一個線上人際關係圈子中，是否會有類似的行為？線上與線下的人際關係如何互動？線上的人際關係是否影響了隱私？都成為熱門的討論議題。　　來自國外或在地的社交網絡網站，不斷出現與成長，現有網誌也推出針對人際關係開發的功能，如我的好友、加我好友等，網際網路上的人脈成為許多人熱衷的一件事。社交網絡的成因、影響與價值，不僅學術界關心，從個人、業界、到政府也都重視。因此， 2009資訊社會年會以「電腦中介社交網絡」（computer-mediated social networking）為主題，讓我們有機會從各種理論與方法面向探討社交網絡，為未來研究奠定基礎，也增進大眾、產業、及政府對社交網絡的瞭解。＊專題演講：《Network Theory: Can Online Social Networks Reorder Societies?》 Keynote: 　　In this address the speakers will introduce some principles of network evolution with the goal of understanding the forces that shape online networks. The following questions will be also be explored. Do online social networks largely duplicate offline networks?Are offline power centers also favored in online social structures? Can individuals and groups marginalized offline come into a place of prominence in online networking? What evidence is there of online social networking changing power relationships in societies? ＊主講人簡介：主講人：德州大學奧斯汀校區新聞學系Mark Tremayne 教授　簡介：　　Mark Tremayne specializes in newer media. His latest book, Blogging, Citizenship, and the Future of Media, is an edited volume published by Routledge in 2006. 　　His research has been published in Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly. The Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Convergence: The International Journal of Research Into New Media Technologies, The Journal of Interactive Advertising and Science Communication. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 主講人：德州大學奧斯汀校區新聞學系Dustin Harp教授　簡介：　　Dustin Harp's research is bound by an interest in women's and gender issues, critical and cultural theoretical perspectives, and the use of qualitative methods.
