Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is the result of the merger of
the University of Karlsruhe and the Research Center, Karlsruhe. It is
a unique institution in Germany, which combines the mission of a university
with that of a large-scale research center of the Helmholtz Association.
With 8000 employees and an annual budget of EUR 650 million, KIT is one of
the largest research and education institutions worldwide.
The Chair for Micro Hardware Technologies for Automation (Juniorprof.
Dr. Jian-Jia Chen) offers one job position for a
*Ph.D. Position in the area of Real-Time and Embedded Systems*
by salary grade TV-L E 13. The employment is limited to 5 years. The
possibility to pursue a PhD degree exists. The vacancy shall be filled
between June and October 2010.
