http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Recruitment/ (我不在該公司一段時間了，純幫忙。) == Web Application Expert == The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is looking for a new, full-time staff member to be located at Beihang University in Beijing, where W3C currently has its China Office, to assist, as team contact, W3C Working Groups developing technical specifications on Web Applications. This is an opportunity for a unique individual to be part of the team responsible for the design of next generation World Wide Web Technologies and to lead a variety of industry and user groups toward the development of technologies that enhance the functionality of the Web. As the recognized leader for the technical development of the World Wide Web, we are seeking an individual with both Web technology and project management experience, an excellent understanding of the Web industry, and enthusiasm for the mission and spirit of W3C. === Responsibilities === The individual will work within standard groups to edit specifications, develop change proposals, monitor progress, reach out to different stakeholders, produce tests, and to respond to clarification requests, bugs and issues. === Requirements === * Bachelors Degree or higher * Background in computer science and software engineering; * An understanding of the Web industry and its market, practices, and product development cycles; * Familiarity with up-to-date Web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and Scripting; * Experience with the development of open information technology standards is desired; * Experience with writing test cases for browser technologies is a plus; * Human relations skills and the ability to build consensus among disparate groups; * Strong writing skills required, with past experiences in editing technical specifications a plus; * Good written and spoken competency in the working language of the W3C, i.e., English, as well as in Chinese; * Ability to travel internationally is required * Knowledge and practical experience of other languages and cultures is a plus Work starts 1 March 2013. Position is based at the School of Computer Science & Engineering of Beihang University, No.37 Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing. There will be regular international travel including to W3C Host sites, and regular remote work with the Working Groups and the W3C Global staff. For the administrative details of the position, please consult the Chinese version of this description. 我已經不在該公司一段時間了，不過因為我現在別的瀏覽器公司做類似的事，以後一定會一起合作，所以對未來的工作夥伴很期待。薪資的事情我沒去問，我以前在日本支部的薪水應該不會有什麼參考價值。我不知道國外員工會不會有簽證問題，不過條件裡沒有寫需要是對岸公民，所以應該很有機會。 W3C是一個很小（我那時候是70人左右）的國際公司，同時有小公司跟國際公司的特性（可能還有NGO的特性不過不談這個），可以學英文是必然也必要的（每週都有全公司電話會議）。內部也很開放，我就很喜歡公司員工每個人的每週週報每個公司員工都看得到這點。工作內容方面（其實我只引用了唯一跟我有關的那個），除了上面寫到的以外，基本上就是不斷看規範、想規範、在郵件群寫信、寫寫 test case 的循環。其實不加入W3C團隊，對Web標準有興趣的朋友直接加入"es-discuss","www-style","whatwg", "public-html-ig-zh"（這是廣告 :p）等等幾個郵件群然後發言就行了。不過這樣沒錢領。工作中可以認識各瀏覽器公司最強的開發者，他們基本都或多或少會在郵件群出現一下，不然就是每年W3C年會（今年會在深圳）碰到，可以景仰一下。對於工作內容與要求方面，這邊還可以看看別的標準工程師怎麼描述的： http://fantasai.inkedblade.net/weblog/2012/job-description/ 以上～ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 123.114.84.103
