[討論] 請益高手～關於residential line跟voice mail的關係

194.What number should Miller call to check her voice mail ?
the answer is (B) 207-555-9922 ,the "residential line"
I'd like to ask you Pros , what's the relationship between "voice mail" &
"residential line" ?
I know that " residential line " means one's home number.
In taiwan , we call "777" except our phone number to receive our
voice mail , right ?
But why people in foreign countries check their voice messages through their
"home number" ?
I'm so curious about this ~ could any Pros give the answer ? THX
