[資訊] 狂人炸油管 油價繼續飆: Libya Situation
一、 位於北非的利比亞(Libya)有些人可能還沒聽過，但領導人格達費(Gaddafi
或 Qaddafi或Kadafi)聽過吧?!這位喜歡戴墨鏡，臉上坑坑巴巴的強人，聽說還下令炸油
管，一炸之後，老美的經濟受到影響怎麼行呢!所以，西方媒體捉緊機會是一定要好好地
來報導或是消遣一下囉。
二、 內文: Worry spread Wednesday that Moammar Kadafi has ordered
security forces to destroy his country's valuable oil pipelines after a
report in Time magazine. Airlines are bracing for higher costs and worry that
people will fly less, or not at all. As the price of gasoline rockets higher,
it brings trouble to auto makers just as they regain their balance after
multibillion-dollar bailouts.
三、 多益英檢文法整理:
1. spread(V):擴散，order(V、N):下令、命令、訂購，destroy(V):破壞，
oil pipeline:油管，rocket(V):突然上升，brace(V):面對，auto maker:車廠，
regain(V):重拾，balance(N):財務平衡，bailout(N):財務紓困、救援
2. 文中指的是利比亞人民暴動，總統格達費甚至趁亂下令安全部隊destroy oil
pipeline(炸油田)，有些美國媒體寫得更狠，直接用sabotage(V):蓄意(暗中)破壞之意，
不過”炸”是我引用國內媒體寫的(聽起來更狠!!!)
3. 不過不管如何，油價是升了，airline(航空公司)要跳腳了，因為一趟飛行成本因油價
rocket(暴升)，可能導致乘客搭乘意願降低，再來是剛度過金融危機的auto maker(車廠)
，公司內部的帳沒有balance(打消)，買車的人間接意願也會降低。
4. balance(N): 平衡、餘額，balance sheet:資產負債表，
A: With the balance sheet is in good shape and more cash to fund projects, we
are focasing on sales next year.
(由於公司資產負債表結果亮眼，而且越多的資金投入執行計畫，我們可以專心明年的銷
售情形。)
B: Yes. And I believe that we could have some positive surprises waiting.
(是的，而且我相信未來還有更多的美好結果正等著我們。)
