[問題] 現在分詞與過去分詞一問

以上面的兩個例子為例,我想請問的是加在名詞前面的形容詞,
如果是分詞,要如何判斷該使用現在分詞或者是過去分詞,
因為我常常搞混,所以想請問有人可以提供好的判斷方法嗎??
另外還有一個例子 a demanding work 一份高要求的工作
如果用 a demanded work 可以嗎??
可以的話是否翻譯成 一份令人感到吃力的工作
或有更好的翻譯方式??
