A new faculty in Mechanical Engineering at CMU wants to recruit student
for Fall 2011. Please see below for the details:

PhD Positions for Fall 2011
We are seeking highly motivated students to pursue PhD degree in the area of
nanoscale energy transfer/conversion and renewable energy technologies.
Our multidisciplinary projects require students having strong experimental or
theoretical skills in one of the following areas:
nanophotonics (plasmonic structures, photonic crystal, etc.), heat transfer,
applied physics and micro/nano fabrication.
Students with various backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical
engineering, applied physics and materials science are strongly encouraged to
apply to the PhD program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at
Carnegie Mellon University. The application deadline is January 15, 2011.
