[請益] 一個關於購買力平價的問題
原來的題目如下:
Assume the empirical tests on PPP as the following regressions
(1) p= b0 + b1 s + b2 p*
(2) p= c0 + c1(s+p*)
Please identify the different implications between the above two models.
Illustrate that under what conditions these two models suggest the same
testing results?
p: 本國物價 p*:外國物價 s:名目匯率
第一個問題 應該是要問這兩條式子上的經濟意涵
但如果PPP要這樣表示 應該要取自然對數才對??
為何會用直接用水準值表示
在這種情況下 該如何解釋兩條式子上的經濟意涵?
第二個是在問計量上的問題
只是目前毫無頭緒 答案應該不太可能是 b1= b2 = c1
