[請益] dummy variable的問題thanks!

各位好~ 這是個有關於Dummy variable的model 這是Take home exam其中的一小題>_< 我想破頭了還是不確定答案是甚麼(黃色那段) 希望有好心的經濟/統計高手給我一些指點今天下午2:00是繳交報告的期限(大概12:30就會出門了) She wishes to test whether three other variables also affect earnings. These variables are marital status, union membership and whether or not the person lives in the northeast region. She has obtained sample data that contains results for the following variables. wage earnings per hour educ years of education age years exper years of work experience female =1 if female married =1 if married union =1 if union member northeast =1 if northeast midwest =1 if midwest south =1 if south west =1 if west fulltime =1 if full time worker metro =1 if lives in metropolitan area Formulate a model that will allow the economist to test whether the three variables mentioned above have significant effects on earnings. The economist wants to be able to test whether base salary is affected or whether the rates that earnings increase with education and experience are also affected. She also wishes to determine whether effect of union membership on earnings is different for the northeast region compared to the rest of the country (intercept term only). 我的答案是: ln(wage)=b1+b2educ+b3exper+r1married+r2union+r3northeast+v1(union*northeast) 但我不知道黃色那段的要求是甚麼:只是把educ和exper放入model裡面嗎? 另外綠色那段我不是非常確定加入v1(union*northeast)就好 P.S r1和v1都只是代表係數感謝任何給我意見的人! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 60.240.108.194
