The cost function of a competitive firm is C(Q)=Q^3/3-Q^2+2Q, Q>＝0
with the profit function R(Q,P)=PQ-Q^3/3+Q^2-2Q.
Question:(a). Find the range of P such that an interial local maximum
Q*(P) exists and find Q*(P).
(b). Determine the range of P such that Q＝0 is also a local
maximum.
