[請益] natural successor要翻成啥?
賈伯斯傳裏的一段話
That seemed a bit odd.I didn't yet know that taking a long walk was his
preferred way to have a serious conversation. It turned out that he wanted
me to write a biography of him. I had recently published one on Benjamin
Franklin and was writing one about Albert Einstein,and my initial reaction
was to wonder,half jokingly,whether he saw himself as the natural successor
in that sequence.
那個natural successor 是要翻成啥?
我試著翻是自然的繼承者，不過中文不會有這種講法
可是翻成偉人的繼承者，好像又很奇怪
有誰能說明一下嗎?
