[請益] 比較級省略用法？
關於比較有個疑問想請教大家
比較的東西, 剛好是 介系詞+名詞, 名詞跟前面的名詞不一樣,
介系詞不可省 A prep. B than A prep. C = A prep. B than C
ex:
The weather was a greater handicap to the invading army than
"the weather was a great handicap" to their enemy.
可以省略成
The weather was a greater handicap to the invading army than to their enemy.
to為介系詞要保留，"the weather was a great handicap" 可刪。
如果用在比較的動詞也是一樣嗎?
ex:
compare A of B with A of C
是否可以簡化成
compare A of B with of C ?
還是這兩種是不同狀況？
