[文法] 過去完成式的疑問請教

過去完成式大抵有兩個意含 1、I had memorized 2000 words by the end of last week. -----------------------+-------------------+---- the end of last week now 紅色線段表示熟記單字的時間點，從過去的某段時間一直持續到上禮拜結束 2、When they turned on the TV, the game had finished. -------------------+-----------------------+--------------------+------ the game had finished turned on the TV now 綠色時間點：比賽結束黃色時間點：打開電視表示比打開電視的時間點，更早之前的時間，比賽早就結束了。這是我對過去完成式的理解。而我在網路上有看到一句類似底下的句子 I was angry because he hadn't finished his homework. 這句話可以理解為「在我生氣之前，他都沒寫功課。」於是我產生了兩個疑問 1、他因為生病了，所以昨天沒來上學。 (對於國中初學because的用法，上句的翻譯應該是底下的句子) He didn't come to school because he was sick. 而我的疑問是，是否應該寫成「He didn't come to school because he had been sick.」也就是說表達在沒來上學的時間點更早之前，染上疾病。 2、(1)I was angry because he hadn't finished his homework. 與(2)I was angry because he didn't finished his homework. 兩句話是否有差異呢？（如果有差異，那疑問1是否也相同） (1)表達的意思是否為，在我生氣之前，他沒寫功課。而背後的意含是，在我生氣之後，他就把功課完成了。 (2)表達的意思是否為，在我生氣之前，他沒寫功課。而我生氣後，他仍未完成功課。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 61.227.236.205 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Eng-Class/M.1421811163.A.C28.html
