[文法] 請教一個參考書上看到的題目
我在參考書上看到一個題目：
The magnificent building _____ on the corner of the street
belongs to my uncle.
(A) stood
(B) that standing
(C) stands
(D) standing
解答的答案是(D), 我的問題是:
為什麼(C)不可以呢？
我的認知是:
The magnificent building stands on the corner of the street
其實就跟 The magnificent building which stands on the corner of the street
這句話的意思一樣, 應該填(C)也可以
請問...不能填(C)的原因是什麼呢？
