[文法] 關於兩個動詞放在一起
各位前輩好，
近日讀到一篇讀書方式的教學文章，
內容摘錄如下：
In addition to our notes, you can highlight or underline words, phrases,
or passages that you feel are important to increasing your learning ability.
...You can also try highlighting or underlining passages that you feel are
central or important to the story as a whole.
(除了我們列出的重點之外，你可以將自己覺得重要的單字、片語或段落標示出來或畫底
線來提升自己的學習能力。……你也可以試著將你認為的整個故事的核心或重要片段標示
出來或畫底線。)
…you can highlight or underline words, phrases, or passages that you “feel
are” important “to increasing” your learning ability.
…You can also try highlighting or underlining passages that you “feel are”
central or important to the story as a whole.
雖然這段句子都看得懂，
但疑惑的是為何這裡”feel”後能直接接續”are”這個be動詞呢？
這樣不會違反不能兩個動詞放在一起的文法觀念嗎？
另外為什麼形容詞“important”後卻是接“to increasing”，
而不是“to increase”這樣的”adj. to V”的形式？
如果這兩句改寫成下面：
…you can highlight or underline words, phrases, or passages that you “feel
” important “to increase” your learning ability.
…You can also try highlighting or underlining passages that you “feel”
central or important to the story as a whole.
這樣改寫可以嗎？可以的話又跟原句有何差異？

已經知道該句只能用“to Ving”的原因了，
那另外想問如果把“feel be adj.”改成“feel adj.”的形式可以嗎？
兩種表達的意思是否差不多呢？謝謝。
