It's the time Netscape meant web browser. It's the time no one used IE because it sucked big time It's the time Ptt didn't exist. But it's the time internet was more fun to me There were no blogs and no MSN, Only college students (and above) knew the existence of Internet And there were no online games then. But simple was beautiful. When I was bored, I would use Unix's“talk” (via my school account) to chat with people. For quite a while it was the way I communicated with my ex (we were about 1000 miles+ away from each other) No web camera, no net meeting, All I depended was my fingers to type But it already made me fall in love with the Internet. I met my ex on the net. I feel blessed that I got chance to know her It's the craziest time of my life Drove 1000 miles+ in a day only to see her, Twice I did that One from north and one from south. Very painful, especially from the south But it's worth doing so I guess it's because when you were young, you would do some crazy thing for love. As time went by, Internet has become so popular Even gangsters recruit their members online now. And probably dogs know how to get online, too. But as fancy as it gets Internet doesn't attract me like before Maybe it's because I am not naive anymore Or maybe it's because all things are different now "Life is like a bitch, that's why it's worth living.” That's a sentence a nice American guy gave me before. I don't know, maybe he was right. And I am experiencing it now. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.184.32.182
