[Ask ] Good ways of speaking fluently and e …
I think being able to speak fluently and expressively are two different
kinds of learning, and it's hard to do one thing to improve them both
I just wonder, if I follow a native speaker to read out an article
(like mp3 on VOA news), will I really be able to speak more fluently?
(If we define "fluent" as being able to pronounce clearly, fluently
and gracefully in sentence structure)
I mean.. I just follow the scripts..without thinking the structure of the
sentence. It doesn't seem very effective.
And when I am about to talk, I often feel I can't give expressive and
...beautiful sentence structure like some public speakers.
What comes to my mind is only short sentences. I think reading the scripts
makes me clumsy in making graceful expressions.
Does anyone ever wonder about this? Reading without thinking ...is it good?
How to find a more effective way to speak both fluently and gracefully?
I think it's been a bottleneck for me for a long time.
