Halo guys and gals, I am Michelle, 19 year-old gal majoring in English Literature in National ChengChi Uni. Actually, I have no nickname. My English (also French) name IS my nickname, that is, Michelle. Lots of my friends have problem spelling my name correctly. I just don't understand why. I was born in the midnight of Octobre 22 and that made me a Libra. I happened to discuss the reason(s) of my loving English and finally, my majoring in EngLit with a friend a few days ago. I started learning English at about 7 and, somehow I felt it familiar to me. According to my parents, I acquired the language quickly. It was in senior high school that I really began to love English. At that time, I hated school English class b/c i considered it easy. Therefore, I tried doing something else to entertain myself during English class. The thing I chosed to do is reading, one of my hobbies. Usually English publication is lighter than Chinese one ,esp the paper back ones and the pocket edtions, so that it was convenience to carry it from home, school to cram school. And the teacher wouldn't say anything if I read somethng that was in English during English class. My friend said that it was riduculous that I loved English b/c "English publication is lighter." However, I don't care. I think it's a good reason, don't you?
