I'm so upset about hearing the news. My friend and I are going to
visit Kyoto in this Oct 18. Daigoji is one of the most essential
heritages in Kyoto. I've to reschedule my travel plan now.
What a bad news.
Daigoji was built in 874. It passed over than 1000 years ago.
Toyotomi hideyoshi(豐臣秀吉) loved this place and held a maples
ceremony here, and it was also called "Daigo no hanami" which means
seeing beautiful views in the Daigo temple. It's still famous by its
surrounding maples. There is only one color of red in the Autumn.
Even though the palace which was burned is only a small part of
the temple, maybe the local government will block all the distrct
to ensure the rebuilding process against accidents.
If it really be blocked,I've to reschedule my plan to other places.
I'm so sad. >"<
