[News] Antibiotic rapamycin can bring hope of longevity
Rapamycin, a drug known to suppress the immune system, increased the
lifespan of laboratory mice by as much as 14%, according to U.S.
researchers. "Rapamycin may extend lifespan by postponing death from
cancer, by retarding mechanisms of aging, or both.”
