To my birthday, that is.
My birthday is often forgotten by many of my friends so it would usually go
without much hoo haa. I guess the reason why my birthday is easily forgotten
is that my birthday falls in October, which is towards the end of the school
year. This is also the period for final year examinations.
There are times when I feel a bit upset because nobody remembered my birthday.
I'm not asking for a big party and all, just wish me a happy birthday and I'll
be happy. I see other people having their birthday celebrated by friends and I
want to know what it's like. But my birthday is often forgotten. I've learnt
to live with this fact. The reality of it all is to the extend that I don't
really care much about my birthday nowadays. It's just another day. It was
never a special day for me.
