[Talk] I had finish read the book Nightmare in the Red Chamber
Word has it that 讀書破萬卷,下筆如有神. It means that it is possible your
writing skill become perfectly good if you already finish read more than
enough of books.
But, what is more than enough of books? The opinion of the ancient Chinese is
that ten thousand of books.
Recently, I went to a library and borrowed a book name Nightmare in the Red
Chamber (紅樓夢魘) by writer Ai-Lin Chang (張愛玪), spend probably one week
on it, I was so happy when finish read the book three days ago.
What is the reason the writer Ai-Lin Chang wrote this book? Because she
really love a book name : Dream of the Red Chamber. and read it more than
five times in any different version.
Although I had finish read the book Nightmare in the Red Chamber, I am not
yet finish read the source, Dream of the Red Chamber ironically.
Anyway, the word : 讀書破萬卷,下筆如有神. I really buy it, and am want to go
to library to return the book and borrow some new books right now.
