[Mind] Embarrassing.
It was really embarrassing. I met my ex co-worker in a fancy restaurant
a few days ago. I was so glad to see him unexpectedly,
and I said hi to him with joy.
Much too my surprise, he gave me a strange smile. I don't know what
exact terms are to describe the way he smiled. I mean, it was really a strange
smile. And then, I got it. I saw the lady that he had lunch with.
O.K. I got it. The lady is not his wife, and she looks like a college student.
He didn't introduce her to me, and I was wearing a strange smile, too.
Actually, I have met his wife, who is an elegant woman and very pretty.
Suddenly, I lost my appetite. I kept thinking about a question during the meal.
If you get a chance to go to a fancy restaurant, who would you like to go with?
Food is still delicious. As for the atmosphere, I do believe that it
will be different if the dates are different.
Life is so short, indeed. Everyone has limited time for sure.
It's just a lunchtime, and why not share the precious time with his wife?
I don't get it. My date hoped that I could enjoy my lunch and told me
that maybe they got divorce and I didn't know about it.
Yes, it's possible. Maybe it's not love affiar, and I just think about it
too much. Fine. Forget it. The question and the answer are over my head.
