Summary:
A man called Sanjay Gupta is neurosurgeon.
He performed operations for many patients in Grady Memorial Hospital.
He is well-known in America because He is CNN's Emmy Award-winning chief
medical correspondent.
Dr. Gupta is also an authorof a novel, Monday Mornings, abook Gupta
describes at whatreally happen in a hospital.
The idea for the book came from his years as a neurosurgeon. The book told
about five surgeons had Morbibity and Mortality meetings-a time to discuss
what went wrong in surgeries.
Fellow author/physician Abraham Verghese, author if Cutting for stone and
Deb Futter, Gutpa's editor at Grand Central Publishing, praised Gupta for
the way he blends medical facts and storytelling.
Gupta's novel reflacts what goes on behind the scenes at a hospital. He
marries medical information with a riveting plot.
