Thank you for your reading. Before I post my summary, I want to say something. Thank for someone recommending my summary. Actually, today's article is very difficult for me. I look up dictionary many times. I even look at the chinese traslation so I could understand what the article saying at final. Though a summary means that introduce what article telling in my word, I still use some sentenses from the story because I try to practice many ways to structure my sentenses. I believe that I make many mistakes in my words. If anyone want to argue with my summary, I appresiate it and I hope we can improve our english toghther. Here is the summary. Title:Made to order-Retailers shower shoppers with tailor-made and compaigns. From: Advanced Summary: Many companies trys to build their brand loyalty and make different with other competitors. Then, they generate incremental sales or offer unigue products to encourage their clients to buy commodities. However, the results of higher cotton and other commodity costs and wages in China that prompted retailors put forward disappointing outlooks. To response to this situation, they controlls their costs to combat rising cotton prices and inflationary pressures. Also, they use new technoloty to interact with shoppers as well because two-thirds of consumers spending is on these kind of services. A company called Adidas said:" we are looking to increase our conversion rate." To reach their goal, they are planning to roll out virtial footwear walls in their shops. The wall does not only allow consumers to view product in full size but also show what other clients are saying about a product. The wall includes camera to analyse shoppers' information. In conclusion, companies need to have connectiveity in stores. No doubt, consumers want a two-way conversation. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 123.192.3.182
