Occupation: Student Used to be in NYU for dramatic writing for a good short 3 months. Wrote some scripts, felt like the curriculum was pretty useless and limiting, so I withdrew. Going to go to HK this fall for uni, either for hotel management or new media. How long have you been learning English? Since kindergarten... so that would add up to... 13? 14 years? Wow goddamn that's a long time. What does English mean to you? What do you like about it? Eh, I guess on the practical side it's a way of making friends from all over the world; on a more linguistic and artistic level, I love how you can play with words in so many different ways in English, especially words that have double meanings. Any tips about learning English? Learn it in a way that interests you. If you like music, listen to English songs and study the lyrics; if you like drama, watch some good English TV series or movies; if you like news, read BBC every day. By the way, shouldn't the question be "any tips 'on' learning English but not "about"? Any other information about yourself?
