young people in their late twenties and early thirties today wonder why they felt happy back in either elementary school or middle school high school...? they were optimistic, they were happy, they were good. but now, they are like biting dogs and crouching lizards, they lost hope, they lost faith, they lost their souls, they are failures. back in those days, we were on revolution, we fought for mankind, we believed, or believe in morawlity, we believe all men are created equal, and all men are good by nature. we studied, and we were friends. now what happens, we become legends, we become heroes, we become beasts,...etc.. we get all the good stuff, sex, money, status, women, lust,...etc.. do you still believe in morality? do you believe that you were born for a purpose beyond the temptations of the world, and that humankind can indeed overcome the lust and pride of the world? are you still on revolution? what you had was a fantasy, you had all the ideals and dreams, you were put onto the real world for examination, and surprisingly to everyone, you seem to have failed... perhaps temporarily, but to me, i believe in the ultimate goodness of human nature, and that our generation, the e-generation will rise u p again, oevrcome the obstable of failure of life, and they, or we, will succeed. proverbs 10:4 he becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 114.43.152.149 (臺灣) ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/EngTalk/M.1561881766.A.DB9.html
