Big Book的P.543 11題比大小 A certain car gets 24 miles per gallon of gasoline for city driving, which is 60 percent of the number of miles per gallon of gasoline the car gets for high way driving (A) The number of gallons of gasoline used to drive this car 30 miles in the city (B) The number of gallons of gasoline used to drive this car 45 miles on the highway 答案是A，不過題目看不太懂 2. B Book p.605 15題比大小 John has a flat square garden with a perimeter of x feet.David has a flat rectangular garden with a perimeter of x feet and the length 1 foot longer than the width. (A)The area of John's garden (B)The area of David's garden 答案是A，這題想問的是，是不是只要周長相同的正方形及長方形面積比較，一定是正方形面積比較大? 3. B Book p.665 14題比大小 A certain store sells each pencil at the same price regardless of the number of pencils sold.k of these pencils have a total price of q cents, and r of these pencils have a total price of s cents. (A)ks (B)qr 答案是C，指兩邊一樣大，題目不是說不論買幾隻筆每隻價錢都一樣嗎？如果是這樣答案不是應該是D嗎？還是他的意思是不論買幾隻筆總價都一樣？ 4. B Book p.760 30題 An emergency vehicle travels 10 miles at a speed of 50 miles per hour.How fast must the vehicle travel on the return trip if the round-trip travel time is to be 20 minutes? (A)55mph (B)60mph (C)65mph (D)70mph (E)75mph 答案是E，題目不太懂，他說去程10miles以速度50miles/hr開，回程以20分鐘開完，那不是速度要更慢嗎？ 5.
