不客氣﹕(模版要自己先寫好﹐下面的模版都是別人的﹐很多人用﹐不能照抄)
根據北美范文精講一書﹐所謂七宗罪如下﹕
罪1、A與B在某方面相似﹐則A與B完全相似或有因果關系
模版之一﹕The author observes a correlation between...and..., then concludes
that the former is the cause of latter. However, the author fails
to rule out other possible explanations for....... For example, ...
it is entirely possible that ..... Without ruling out all other such
factors it is unfair to conclude that....are responsible for....
罪2、A與B存在時間關系(例如AB同時發生或A發生在B之後)﹐則認為AB有因果關系
模版之一﹕The author concludes that .....is responsible for.... based on the
fact that... occured after .... However, the sequence of these
events, in itself, does not suffice to prove that the former caused
the latter one. (......alternative explantions).....(conclusion)
罪3、A包含B﹐則認為A的特征也是B的特征
罪4、想要達成B﹐就必須按A來做﹔按A來做必可達成B(忽略alternative explanations)
罪5、統計或調查不具代表性
模版之一﹕The author provides no evidence that the study's results are
statistically reliable. In order to establish a strong correlation
between ...and ...the study's sample must be sufficient in siza and
representative of the overall population of ... Laking evidence of
...., the author can not justifiably rely on the study to draw any
conclusion whatsoever.
罪6、認為客觀條件永恆不變(A十年前這樣做成功了﹐B現在這樣做將來也會成功)
模版之一﹕The author's inference that ...which were effective in the past will
also be effective in the future rests on the poor assumption that
during the last ..(一段時間)..all conditions upon which their
effectiveness depend have remained unchanged. Perhaps..........
Or perhaps....... ........(conclusion)
罪7、red herring(有些題目的一些話自打嘴巴﹐剛好反了他的結論﹐或者與結論無關)
