做了幾回BB，發現我很不習慣英文的描述...
常常看半天卻搞不清楚題意，或是會錯意
所以希望板上的大大們能幫忙指點一下，謝謝！！
1. There were more than 5 times the number of females in the technical
occupations as in the skilled craft occupation.
請問這個描述到底是誰是誰的五倍呢？？
2.One month Mary used 1/6 of her monthly salary for a car payment
and 1/4 more than the car payment for rent,
what fraction of her monthly salary did Mary use that month for the
car payment and rent combined?
Mary 用了1/6的S去付車子的費用...（這裡沒問題）
這句話是指：她用比車子費用多1/4的錢去付房子，
可是我搞不太懂得是：
付房子的錢是：1/6S + 1/4
還是1/6S + 1/4*1/6S ??
3.跟第二題很像:By how much is 4/5 more than 25% of 12?
這題是：4/5 + (12*25%)
還是：4/5 (12*25%) + (12*25%)
希望板上的大大們能教我怎麼把這種文字敘述搞懂...
