If|3x+2| = 8 : Col A: |X| : Col B: 3 : (為什麼是D) Ans. 絕對值問題 3x + 2 = ±8，解得 x = -10/3 or 2，兩個解都比 3小，掛絕對值得 10/3 or 2，所以是 D : 9. If a Rectangular plate can hold 3 cubic feet, then : Col A: The number of cubic yards that 100 such plates can hold : Col B: 13 : (為什麼是A) Ans. 1 yard = 3 feet （其實我也看不大懂題目在說什麼……，但可以猜出是比例問題，抓關鍵字就好） 1 : 3 = 100 : x / 27 300 = x / 27 x = 11.1 所以選 A : 10. There is a series of numbers 5, 12, 26.........till 100 terms. : Which of these cannot be a term of the series? : A. 57 : B. 75 : C. 96 : D.89 : E. 47 : (這題我就用7的倍數加，像是26+21=47,47+28=75,75+35=110，可是除了 : 選項內的B.75，E.47是這範圍內的之外，其他ACD都不是阿， : 那網路上答案為什麼只有A呢？可能題目有錯吧，不過只有前三項實在很難去看出數列規則，這種題目漏洞太多，可以不用理他。想快點解的話就去檢查是否每項都滿足 5 + 7x 的形式，但這題不合的選項太多了……。 : 11. Given 1 < xy < 4 and 1 < y < 2, : Col A: x : Col B: 2 : (為什麼是A) 答案似乎也有問題題目應該是要求 x的範圍使得範圍內任意 x和 y相乘都滿足在 1到 4之間。 x > 2代進去感覺也不對。個人感覺 1 < x < 2，才合，所以我會選 B吧。 : 17.
