1.Pat has 7 blue paired-socks and 7 black paired-socks in a bag. How
many socks must be taken out by Pat to make sure of getting a pair of socks
of the same color?
Ans:15
2.which of the following integers does NOT have a divisor greater than 1 that
is the square of an integer?
Ans:42
3.比大小
the volumes of cubes A and B are 1728 cubic meters and 13824 cubic meters.
column A: the ratio of the surface area of cube A to that of cube B
column B:1/2
Ans:A
但我跟同學算出來A都是1/4，所以答案不是應該是B嗎??
4.比大小
The average of 18 numbers is m, and their standard deviation is s. Two of
these numbers are equal to m and discarded.
column A:The standard deviation of the remaining 16 numbers
column B:s
Ans:A
