A amiable B insular C threatening D cooperative E unlimited F fascinating 這一題我會直接看空格, 是形容詞, 因此立馬找他所修飾的主詞, 也就是"outside world" (外面的世界). 用什麼來形容outside world呢? B選項 insular是島嶼的, 島國心態的. 以下附上insular在MW字典的翻譯 : separated from other people or cultures : not knowing or interested in new or different ideas 1 : of, relating to, or constituting an island : dwelling or situated on an island <insular residents> 2 : characteristic of an isolated people; especially : being, having, or reflecting a narrow provincial viewpoint 3 : of or relating to an island of cells or tissue insular是個陷阱, 因為前面有remote island. 然而, outside world外面的世界怎麼會島嶼的或島國心態的? 顯然不對. 島國人不願意向外探索, 邏輯上可以理解因為以為外面世界很危險, 因此我就選了 C選項, threatening. 這題就變成 the outside world, instead of being threatening, could be (ii) _____ and worth exploring. 由於下面那格出現"and"的填空signal word, 知道要填寫"worth exploring" 的同義或相近意義的字. 再加上前面的 threatening取反義, 因此最接近的是 F選項"fascinating". 希望以上的回答對ghtmmm有幫助囉 :) 有任何問題都非常歡迎, 我會全力回覆!
