＊The following are some examples of onomatopoeia in Chinese. Please write out their sounds in Pinyin system. (題目給了一些中文的擬聲詞data) 請問這裡的Pinyin system指的是漢語拼音法嗎?可以用IPA來表示嗎? ＊Explain how five is related to fifteen phonetically and phonologically (as opposed to the way four is related to fourteen). 我的作答: The [v] of five is phonetically similar to the second [f] of fifteen. Both of them are labiodental fricatives and only difference with respect to voicing. However, [v] changes into [f] in fifteen, and which is the result of voicing assimilation because [f] is followed by a voiceless consonant. 請問這樣的作答方向是正確的嗎? ＊Anylze the following two sentences functionally to show whether they have the same meaning. Then discuss the thematic properties of the verb "face". 1) The Government faces difficult debates. 2) Difficult debates face the Government. 這題不知道要如何解釋face的thematic properties耶~"~ ＊ child psychology graduate 這個是ambiguous compound noun，可是不知道它的歧義所在 = = ＊ Look at the following items containing the element "shoe" and decide in each case whether the compound is based on a type-of relationship (with a dominant second element) or a part-whole relationship (with a dominant first element).
