Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties Includes the following (other duties may be assigned or removed upon requirement):
- Troubleshooting electromechanical machines.
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
- Researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develops manufacturing processes by modifying equipment for fabricating, assembling, and installing components.
- Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods.
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special services.
- Maintains system and product data base by writing computer programs and entering data. Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepare and maintain SOP for all related work stations.
- Utilize hardware tools to setup, maintain, and repair production test equipment.
- Complete routine audit and calibrations to ensure proper operational performance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups or managers.
- Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
- Ability to investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
- Strong listening, oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate.
- Able to plan, direct and delegate work to others.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills as well as administrative management skills.
- Ability to develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
- Lean 5S knowledge preferred.
- Prior experience using hardware tools and equipment.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or similar engineering discipline).
