what 當先行詞用
whatever 當複合關係代名詞
whatever 是 what 的強調形
兩者在這邊都不適用 應該用(c)That 後面承接一子句當名詞片語使用 後面is是句
中唯一動詞
而what 跟 whatever 後面應直接接動詞
(a) What you may do can't help him a bit.
(b) Whatever you may do can't help him a bit.
以上兩句
(a) What you may do 及 (b) Whatever you may do
皆為名詞子句 後面再接動詞 故在本題不應選a或d
