Re: [討論] WHAT ABOUT與WHAT ABOUT用法
查了朗文字典的結果
how about......?
a) used to make a suggestion about what to do
= what about
No, I'm busy on Monday. How about Tuesday at seven?
How about putting the sofa closer to the window?
b) used to ask about another person or thing
I need a long cold drink. How about you?
'Mary and Ken are still away.' 'And how about Billy?'
what about.....?
a) used to make a suggestion
What about dinner at my place next week?
What about going to a movie?
b)used to introduce a new subject into a conversation, or to mention something
or someone else that also needs to be considered
What about me? Aren't I coming too?
What about Patrick? What's he doing nowadays?
So that's the food - now what about the wine?
所以做建議時兩者是通用的
另外一種情況就有小差異,但我不太會解釋>"<
請高手說明一下
