先拆解成兩個句子：
People are aware of something.
至於something是：
What does a clean environment means to human beings?
這是由wh-問題改成的名詞子句。
People are aware of what a clean environment means to human beings.
S V 名 詞 子 句
: 疑問:答案是(A)，但我不懂為什麼不能選(B)呢?
: 2. Wyoming was the first state _______ woman suffrage in the United States.
: (A)to ratify
: (B)ratifying
: 疑問:一樣答案是(A)，但(B)錯在哪?

這個可拆解成兩個句子比較好理解：
1.Wyoming was the first state.
2.Wyoming would ratify woman suffrage in the United States.
(Wyoming將批准美國女性的選舉權。)
我們知道the first state就是Wyoming.
Wyoming was the first state that would ratify woman suffrage in the United
States.
助動詞would可改寫為be to的形式
Wyoming was the first state that be to ratify woman suffrage in the United
States.
在簡化形容詞子句的過程中，可把that和be動詞省略。
Wyoming was the first state to ratify woman suffrage in the United
States.
