[資訊] 多益閱讀測驗攻略: 看主詞
一、終於有了一個新字了:sexting。顧名思義，sex(N):性，text(N):原意是指文字，手
機發達後其動詞又稱texting(V):傳簡訊，將2字結合變成為"簡訊傳送自己清涼照"的意思
。
二、內文
A short film was launched Tuesday to warn young people about the risks of
sending indecent images of themselves to each other, a trend known as sexting.
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center, CEOP, said young people
often did not realize that the images they share of themselves digitally may
end up in the hands of others, including in some extreme cases the
collections of child sex offenders.
“We should encourage young people to use technology but it’s really
important that they are made aware of the dangers involved too,” it said.
三、多益英檢文法重點:
1.film(N、V):電影、薄膜，launch(V):發射、開始，warn(V):警告，risk(N、V):風險，
indecent(adj):不雅的，trend(N):趨勢，exploitation(N):剝削、開發，realize(V):理
解，digitally(adv):電子地(在網路上地)，end up:導致，extreme(adj):極端的， sex
offender:性犯罪者，encourage(V):鼓勵，aware of:對...提高警覺，involve(V):介入
其中。
2. 這一篇是由英國福利團體發起一個影片，內容是呼籲青少年注意自己身體隱私，避免
透過簡訊或EMAIL方式，將自己私密照曝光，後果更難堪，也就是說，科技也是2面刃。
3.主詞是film，所有文章前面的adj修飾它，整個film貫穿整篇文章，這是提醒讀者在閱
讀測驗時，一開頭的N(名詞)大多是主詞，接下去閱讀時，要一直記得，就更容易懂得文
章在講甚麼。接下去，會有另一個人或機構的看法，像這裡作家就是引用CEOP的話，不過
當然發表的看法一定是針對前面的主角，當然最後的V encourage(鼓勵)是將想法化為行
為的總結，整篇文章意思是要人"注意!!!!"
4. in the hands of:落入他人手中，indecent既然是不好的adj，經常與word(N):言語、
act(N):行為、behavior(N):"行為"、assault(N):攻擊與exposure(N):暴露，這樣認識單
字最快了，知道嗎?!
5. encourage someone to do something:
(1) to encourage+someone+ in
John's parents encouraged him in his studies.(約翰的雙親一直鼓勵他的課業。)
(2) to encourage someone +to
Banks always encourage poeple to borrow more money.(銀行都是鼓勵民眾多借錢。)
(3) encourage+N
Some researchers believed that violent video games encourage more violent
behaviors in youth.
(部分研究人員認為暴力電玩可能導致青少年更多暴力行為產生。)
