一、 多益英檢文法整理
1. pop(V):服藥，spike(V、N):釘鞋、尖、升高，potassium
iodide: 碘化鉀，in the wake:有鑑於，poison(N):毒物，illness(N):生病，
ingest(V):攝取，radiation(N):輻射，detect(V):偵測，hoard(V):囤積，
apparently(adv):明顯地，precaution(N):預警，query(N):詢問，exposure(N):暴露。
2. 文章是說美國國內並未偵測到有radiation(輻射物)，但有人卻傳
出taking them already(已經先服用) potassium iodide(碘片或碘化鉀)，所以就產生
illness(生病)。
3. query(N):諮詢或查詢，等於question、ask，網路搜索條件也是
query，做生意要諮詢貨物內容是inquiry of something，probe(N)則是指調查或研究，
investigation(N)是指案件調查。
4. hoard(V):囤積，或等於pile up，hoard通常是指不好、惡意的行
為。

以下是一則一名男人偷藏（hoard）酒Sierra Nevada的廣告。

Woman: Honey! Have you seen the Sierra Nevada ?
