一、 「大小」攸關男人面子，因此男人動不動就比大小，當然有人就會想盡
辦法要讓小弟弟長高，根據義大利一所大學研究顯示，靠著外力輔助的確可以讓男人的小
弟弟變高，筆者倒認為，更用就好!!!!
二、 內文: A review of medical literature has revealed that some
non-surgical methods to increase penis size do actually work - but some
result in disappointment. Orderda and Gontero, writing in the Journal of the
British Association of Urological Surgeons, said that some surgical
procedures were dangerous, with an "unacceptably high rate of complications."
Around 121 men had received surgery in about half of the studies, while 109
men had undergone non-invasive treatments. They found that traction methods
using penile extenders, which stretch the member over time, were the most
effective. But the regimen for gains is arduous: six hours of traction daily
for four months in the first case and four hours every day for six months in
the second. And no girth decrease was reported with any traction therapy.

reveal(V):展示、發表，surgical(adj):手術的，penis(N):陽具，result in:導致，
disappointment(N):失望，complication(N):複雜程度、併發症，unacceptably(adv):不
能接受地，surgery(N):手術，undergo(V):進行，invasive(adj):侵入性，
treatments(N):治療、處理，traction(N):牽引(拉)，penile(adj):陰莖的，
extender(N):延長器，stretch(V):拉長，effective(adj):有效的，regimen(N):治療(使
用)過程，arduous(adj):艱難的，girth(N):幹圍、物體寬度，therapy(N):治療。
2. increase與 decrease是指大小量的變化，這裡是指size(尺寸)，而醫療的
過程分為一般手術(surgical)與非手術(non-surgical)，也就是使用penile extender，
是最有效的方法之一。
3. most effective是指最有效率，cost-effective則是指「最節省成本」，或
划算的。
A. This is the most cost-effective way to fight crime. 這種方式是花錢
最少但效果最好的打擊犯罪方法。
4. receive或undergo都可以指接受治療(手術)，與have同義，例如
A. My mother underwent a major surgery last year. (我母親去年動過大手
術。)
＝My mother received a major surgery last year.
＝My mother had a major surgery last year.
5. surgery(N):手術，如cosmetic surgery(整容手術)、plastic surgery(整
形手術)或bypass surgery(心臟繞道手術)，surgeon(N):醫師或是doctor。
