(A) can (B) might (C) may (D) ought to Ans:(A) 翻譯：我的接待員(應該/已經/可以)為你做預約。大廳走到底在你的右手邊。疑問： (1)to your right 翻成「右手邊」嗎？ (2)我的翻譯有問題嗎？感覺題目的兩個句子關聯性不大，對於作答沒有提示性幫助。因為不太懂他的語意，答案就選錯了。 2.________ I hang your coat while you're removing your shoes? (A) Shall (B) Must (C) Would (D) Ought Ans:(A) 翻譯：當你脫鞋時，需要我將你的外套吊掛起來嗎？疑問：單看句子，我認為空格裡應該填should。但是我覺得would也可以。譯成「...好嗎？要不要？」這種助動詞有沒有什麼辦別方法？不然憑翻譯和語意去選，常常選錯。 3.We ________ finish this assignment by the deadline, but it's pretty unlikely. (A) can (B) might (C) will (D) would Ans:(B) 翻譯：我們(應該)在期限前完成這項工作，但似乎不太可能。疑問：單看句子，我認為空格裡應該填should，但是沒有這個選項。雖然勉強選了might，答對了，但是卻覺得怪怪的。 might在這裡該解釋成什麼呢？ 5.He _______ take a taxi to the airpot, but it makes more sense for me to just drop him off. (A) should (B) could (C) ought to (D) will Ans:(B) 翻譯：(看不懂意思，翻不出來) 疑問：語意看不懂...不知道該選哪一個答案。 6.I _______ have called you sooner,but our telephones weren't working.
